Question:

Menezes shooting: Are the British Media in league with the Government?

Yet another reference to the "mistaken" shooting of JC de Menezes on the news. Does this mean that the Media are controlled by the Govt? I personally don't see where the "mistake" component is--he was obviously shot IN CASE he was a Suicide bomber. How is an order to "kill him anyway, (even if he might NOT be a terrorist)" any kind of MISTAKE? Nobody heard of the maxim "Better safe than sorry"?Sacrifice, plain and simple, of a pedestrian who MAY or MAY NOT be a threat (we've no idea at this point, as the only view of him we've got is TWENTY YARDS AWAY, THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AS WE FOLLOW HIM INTO A STATION).

  1. aye laddie they are ,

they always have been always wull be. freedom of the press is a fantasy as is freedom of the press. especially under the new labour communist party  of gordonski brownakov

its people like james above me who would rather kill innocents with impunity  because they live in perpertual fear. the terrorist's won this fight laddie as soon as they had the west jumping at shadows and fearing the next attack. then taking the strongest unnessassary means of security against terror that do nae work.

this UKski ( vassel of the EUski govt0 as well as the USSA have lost the plot due to their fear and need for power and greed for personal gain. just look at Borwn and bush . they are the proof

  2. I completely agree with you. Then the police and media make up lies such as he was wearing a bomber jacket that made him look suspicious when in fact he was wearing a denim jacket. Or the other lie that there was no CCTV footage that day when in fact there was. The list was endless. They then tried to smear him after his death! Like that would justify what they had done. Menezes killers need to be punished for the crime they have committed. There is so much we don't know about what happened that day and the REAL reason he died.

  3. Of course they are. Remember not so long ago the media blackout with regards to Prince Harry, that was the Military, the Govt, the Royal Family and the Media. It's all connected like a series of tunnels. Then of course you have the Hutton Enquiry (Dr Kelly) which was a whitewash and only came to an end because of Dr Kelly's "suicide" the silence was deafening by the media, then of course you have this mess where an innocent guy got several bullets lodged into him by the MET, JCDM which again was another whitewash not only by the MET but by the Govt too. But under Zanu-NuLab are we even supprised anymore?

I'm not. Everything about the infrastructure of this country stinks of corruption.

  4. I think the whole case was a disgrace and nicely swept under the carpet. I feel so sorry for his family and dont blame them for not accepting an apology. After all a man took seven bullets to the head, in a case of mistaken identity!!!! And why were the police officers never charged??This particular case makes me sick....

  5. You would no doubt be moaning about how the government don't do enough to protect its people if he had in fact be a suicide bomber!

  6. To answer your question, no.

His was a tragic death.  Just as tragic and needless as those murdered on the bus and tube attacks a few days beforehand.

  7. The government is the shadow government - one  you can't see, which controls the puppets  you do.

  8. It appears that the Metropolitan Police with the support of this corrupt government have conspired to lie and lie again about this case. Just in fact as they did over the alleged suicide of Dr.Kelly. It is interesting that all the police officers involved have asked for immunity from being identified at the belated inquest into Jean de Menezes killing. Anybody who believes this government are concerned over their citizens is living in another world from the real one.

You can bet the eventual findings will be a whitewash just as in the case of Dr. Kelly
