  1. any mints

  2. you could get oover to your closet stor and ask them to speical order for you. or go on the enternet and order them there

  3. There might not be an alternative. The process that creates the coating shell of mentos is what causes the reaction, the suface releases CO2 and thus all the fizz from the coke rapidly.

The only way it will work is if you can find something created exactly like a mentos, mints will not work.

    Mythbusters explains how it works:

  4. sugar

  5. dry ice.

  6. tums

  7. pop rocks!

  8. altoids

  9. Look harder, mentos are more popular now due to the advertising campaign.

I bet there are loads of shops that sell them nearby

  10. try those lifesaver-shaped mints, i think they are called breathsavers

  11. ice cream???

  12. polo even contains the same ingredients...almost all ingredients are same...u can use it...

  13. Tesco sell them! Go down Tesco.........

  14. pop rocks might work

  15. mentos work the best but since you can't find those,

altoids would be your next best bet . .

    have fun!!! hehe

  16. Altoids?

  17. You can buy Mentos on Ebay.

  18. I'm unsure about the scientific solution to using mentos but try mint imperials or soft mints or tic tacs. They have a hard sugary coating same as mentos so it may work.

  19. go to walmart, they probably have em. dont drink soda with mentos. The doctor you see will tell you you're stupid. but soda bombs are bad ***!

  20. Basically, you are witnessing the Surface Effect.  Carbon Dioxide forms bubbles.  Diet Coke has more carbon dioxide than other regular sodas.  The surface of the "mento" is jagged and filled with nooks and crannies.  The Carbon Dioxide finds all of these holes and fills them with bubbles.  Since the Mentos are heavy, they drop to the bottom of the bottle, forming bubbles all the way down.  This is what causes the fast and furious explosion out of the top of the Diet Coke bottle.

Best thing to do is find altoids with those textures. GL on your explosions ;p

  21. try something minty like altoids, probably.

  22. c

  23. Is this suppose to do something together?
