Mercedes-Benz to sponsor MENA Golf Tour
Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will be the official sponsor of the MENA Golf Tour for the second year in a row.
The statement was welcome by the MENA officials who are on the lookout for new sponsors for the golf tour that promises to change the outlook of golf in the region. MENA Golf Tour is a premiere golf event in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Officials of MENA Golf Tour are very excited about the partnership that offers huge dividends to both the partners.
Talking about it, Mohamed Juma Buamaim, Chairman of the MENA Golf Tour said, “As a young Tour, we need all the support that we can get. We are delighted to establish this partnership with Mercedes-Benz and hope we can work together on a bright future for
golf in the region”.
MENA Golf Tour aims to support and promote golf in the region and make it a golf destination that is at par with the most advanced courses in Europe.
The event is very essential for the region that does not offer many golfing facilities to local and foreign players.
Mercedes-Benz will be the official car sponsor of the events in the MENA Golf Tour. The company will have the opportunity to display its latest models to both players and fans during the tournaments of the tour.
The car manufacturer will also transport players and officials to their hotels, golf courses and other official destinations. The luxury fleet that Mercedes-Benz plans to line up for the event will be a perfect opportunity to flaunt the partnership between
the partners.
The agreement will also offer Mercedes-Benz a chance for publicity during the events and grant it significant on-site presence rights.
This agreement comes at a very fortunate time for the car manufacturer. This year, MENA tour planned an extended schedule with a stop-over at Saudi Arabia for the first time.
Talking about the agreement, a Mercedes-Benz official said, “Our association with the MENA Golf Tour demonstrates our support to the sporting community in the region and is very much part of our drive to promote the close ties between the sport of golf and
Mercedes-Benz”.
