Can anyone confirm, please; for a 300SEL (air suspension), is there a special way to jack it using a car-lift? Can you simply lift it with all 4 wheels hanging or do you have to do something special?

  1. Before you lift the car, pull the air suspension k**b out one notch, approx ( approx 1 inch) and push it back in after the car is on the ground.  If the car is a later U.S. spec model, the k**b will only come out one notch as the high ride setting is locked out.  The k**b is located near the hood release.. Good luck

  2. I think you can lift it by the frame and let the wheels hang safely. It's no different that a wheel going to full extension while driven.
