Mercenaries 2 PS3 Rumble?

Quite some time ago, Pandemic said that rumble wouldn't be in the PS3 version of the game due to the lack of a rumble controller. Now that the Dualshock 3 has been out for quite some time, will the PS3 be able to have a vibration function for Mercs 2?

Maybe not at first, as the game is close to release, but there will most likely be an update at some point including rumble into the game.
