the story isnt really connected except the same characters return, but there isnt really a need to play the first as the story doesnt continue thru. Though id recommend the first game as it is sure a h**l of fun to play but for story purposes or anything like that then no

I Won&#039;t really recomend playing the first game before the second, I&#039;d honestly go out and buy the second. In my own comparison, the 2nd makes the 1st look like crud. the only thing you&#039;re missing out on the first one is a story that doesn&#039;t realate to the second game, and lower graphics and less fun, (kinda)

So, if you really want to try the first one, i guess, but i wouldn&#039;t suggest it
