Mercury 35 HP 1984 model Lower Unit won't come off

the drive shaft is frozen to the powerhead. If you can back the two side bolts out against a couple of thick washers to push the unit apart, you can them set the engine upside down and spray wd40 down the shaft and let it soak for a couple of days. its ugly but you got to work it with wedges and beat it to death with a rubber mallet......hope for the best
