96 Mercury 115 started beeping continuously. I know that it is still injecting oil.

Is there something I can clean or what do I need to check/change to stop this?

Thanks, in advance

  1. that also signals a fuel restriction.  Check your fuel lines and tank vent.  If your boat has an antisiphon valve, take it out & throw it away, don't know why they put those on outboard boats anyway.  It's only useful when the motor intake is below the fuel tank level, to prevent gas siphoning into the engine compartment.

  2. if you have a reservior tank on the top of the motor, check to see it is full...sometimes the reservior sensor will either stick, or the reservoir will be low and will cause the alarm
