Mercury in Pisces. Is it all that bad?

My Mercury is in Pisces. From what I've read...it seems that Mercury in Pisces is not a good placement...? What do you think? I also read that Mercury in Pisces is not that bad as long as there is positive aspects with your Mars, Pluto, Ascendant, Uranus, and Neptune.

But in my birth chart I have:

Mercury Square Mars

Mercury Square Neptune

Mercury Square Ascendant

Mercury Square Uranus

But I also have:

Sun Conjunct Mercury

Mercury Conjunct Venus

Moon Conjunct Mercury

Sun sign: Pisces

Rising sign: Libra

Moon sign: Aries

Sooo....is Mercury in Pisces a bad placement to have????

It's not a problem.  You just may come across as whiny or manipulative to me, but others may love you.

I think the issue may be that if your Sun is conjunct your Mercury the Sun may also be square your Neptune, Mercury and Uranus and Moon.

However, squares are only challenges that help us grow.  You left off other important planets, such as Saturn, Pluto (if you still consider it a planet), Venus and Mars.

lol..no, Mercury in Pisces allows you to think creatively and express it beautifully. Apparently, looking at all the squares you listed, you're going to find it challenging to act upon your creative thoughts, and you're not going to be blessed with a tremendous burst of inspiration, and you will have a struggle expressing your creativity, but the sun conjuncts and the venus conjunct and moon conjunct give the hint that you will be able to make money and fame from pulling the deep emotions within you to the surface and expressing them to the world...this may require you to learn to discipline yourself and to work hard to hone your creative skills.

So, not an easy path, but definitely a fruitful and possibly fullfilling one.

One note of caution...stay away from drugs and alcohol, as you are VERY sensitive to the negative effects of them...

I agree with Irish. Several great answers but hers is right on. I was looking at your list and thinking what creative talent you can tap if you learn how to focus on it and not allow it to get scattered.

Well. I am no professional astrologer, but I have had a lot of experience examing people's charts to see what signs in what planets affect a person's personality.

First of all, the planet Mercury, in astrological terms, represents your communication sign. It is how well you connect and react with others on a conversational level. If it is a bad sign or not, only you can decide!

A person with Pisces mercury is very sweet with their words, liking his/her social time with close friends and making small talk about the weather, etc. You may also have trouble articulating what you want to say during conversation, most will consider this a part of your "watery" and fickle demeanor. You might be shy about expressing any deep/strong opinions you may have.

Remember though, as with all astrolocial signs, your placements in other planets will affect the way Pisces mercury manifests itself in you. This would conesquently compromise some of the personality chracteristics that I been previously given.
