  1. You want to buy a flybridge?

Aint that like buying a door before the house is built?

Buy a boat then put whatever flybridge you want on it.

  2. All the companies mentioned have their ups and downs.  Boats are alot like cars.  There are Kia quality and there are Rolls Royce quality and everything in between.  As a Yacht Broker I see them all and can tell you that they all are good boats, some of them are GREAT boats and a few are EXCEPTIONAL.  The price, however, goes up accordingly.  I am a HUGE fan of Regal because they build Cadillac quality at a Chevy price and the market hasn't figured it out yet.  Meridian is a lot of boat for the buck.  It is a Buick level of quality and when you go to resell it the European market LOVE these boats.  Sealine is a little more expensive usually but the fit and finish is also Cadillac quality, with the added bonus of the Euro styling that is currently in vogue.  Carver and Silverton both have been butting heads for years  for market dominance and they both build Buick quality at Buick quality prices. You would have to see their almost identical aft cabin motoryachts to see what I mean.  Sea Ray is a tempting maker as they make above Cadillac level boats at a Cadillac price.  All of these builders are not new to the market.  All have good customer service from the factory AND from their current owner organizations.  It is mainly the styling that you will like or not like, then the budget that you have in mind.  You can buy a less expensive Cadillac Quality boat (Sea Ray) if you go a little older or a newer Chevy or Buick quality boat (Carver Regal) for about the same money in most markets.  If money is really tight then go to an older Chevy or Buick Quality boat (1985-1994 Carver, Silverton or Maxum) and you will still get a great boat.  Contact a local Yacht Broker and he will guide you in the right direction.  To keep from overpaying have him do a Comparative Market analysis for any vessel that you wish to make an offer on.  It only takes a good Broker about an hour or two to do one off of Soldboats.com and it will give you peace of mind.  I know this answers your questions.  Feel free to e-mail me if you wish
