Mertesacker would be happy to play with Henry and Podolski

The New York Red Bulls player and former Gunners seems destined to return to the Emirates, while Podolski is being hailed as one of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s prime targets.
Arsenal have been looking to bring in some reinforcements for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 at the club and it seems like the team has finally narrowed things down to Henry and Podolski.
Henry has already been training with the Gunners squad and based on how well he has been doing, it seems like Arsene Wenger is more than happy to bring back the striker for a short term loan spell.
Mertesacker, when talking about Henry is quoted to have said: “I am very happy training with [Henry], very happy. He is playing very, very good. I am happy to play against him in training and it is a great experience.”
“He is a great opportunity for us, but I'm not the manager, I couldn't find a decision or what is possible for him or for us.”
The defender is also well aware of the talent that Podolski possesses, since he has played against the striker in the German Bundesliga and occasionally plays with him for the German national team.
When highlighting the brilliance of Podolski, Mertesacker then went on to add: “He is a great player, especially for the national team”
“He scores a lot of goals, he's a good striker with a very good finish with his left foot.
“His left foot is unbelievable and I'm a fan. This year, he has scored a lot of goals. He is powerful as well, he's a great player.”
From the looks of things and based on the way the player’s are looking at the situation, it seems like Arsenal are more than likely to sign at least one striker in January.
However, with Wenger now looking to add experience and depth to his squad, the manager might just be tempted to invest in two or more players.
