I am getting a message on start up which is slowing this down to about 5mins, ' the ordinal 5211 could not be located in dynamic link library MFC71.DLL', what does this mean?

It has only been there for two days and the only thing ive done different is install Norton360.

Everything seems to be working fine apart from startup, i am running WindowsXP Home.

  2. again I am amazed at the amount of people on yahoo answers that answer question that have no freaking clue what they are talking about !!!

the error your seeing is caused by the overwriting of a dll file on the installation of norton  this file mfc71.dll is in the system32 folder and simply needs replaced their are plenty of sites on the net where you can get this dll , the easiest and safest is to copy it from another system running xp home and pasting it back to the win32 folder if need be MESSENGER ME and i'll send you the correct file and walk you through fixing it ..

  3. Norton
