Messages from my yahoo group are flooding my inbox! please tell me how to quit on a group, tnx a lot!?

Mail to this address:

/YOUR GROUP NAME/[e-mail]

Be careful that u should place yr group name in the /YOUR GROUP NAME/. for example if u are joined in the group called "mailarea" u should mail to : "[e-mail]"

for unsubscription.Just leave the subject and the mail text area blanked and send it.

The other way is go to http://groups.yahoo.com then log in and choose the group u wanna quit, then find the "edit membership" on top of the main page and leave that group afterwards.

When you join a group the default setting is to receive every  post to that group so in future if you join a group be sure to tick no email,  you will  get the posts at the site.  To quit go to the group site and click on edit membership along  the top.  In the next window scroll down to "leave group" tick,  then click on save changes.
