Messed up camera?

Question

I have a Olympus FE-230 camera and I'm not sure what has happened to it but, when I turn the camera on it shows a black screen and you can tap the lens a little bit and it shows a purple-ish screen with horizontal lines runnning through it.

I'm guessing it got wet?

what should I do? Any ideas how much it would cost to get fixed?

Take it to a camera store. Generally most modern digital cameras cost more to fix than replace today.
