I was fooling around on my phone, it's a samsung u740 with verizon, and i went to phone settings and changed some setting to NAM 2 instead of NAM 1. My phone has since restarted, flashed an "initial programming needed" alert and has asked me for a lock code, which i do not know. my old lock code was "5225" and isnt working anymore. I need help.

  1. punch in the last 4 digits of your phone number. :) if not you have to go thru customer service bc there is like 300 step process for this act.. i did this on my alias by mistake at one time...  :(

  2. Have you tried to call your customer service provider yet? If not, call them before you do anything else. You only have 3 times in a lock out case with a system change before you have to buy a new phone, sim card, or both with any cellular service. Is the phone only asking for the lock code and not letting you past that? Do you have an online account with the cellular place? If not, it only takes a couple of seconds to set one up, and you can access all of your information on there and speak with customer service.

  3. the lock code is the last 4 digits in your cell number. and if it says intial programming needed, you might just need to activate it again. theres a number for it...but i cant remember it. but if you go to verizon and just ask them to activate it they will. i think it costs money tho. unless you get someone nice.

    i usually do. good luck!

  4. I don't really know about this, but I accidentally locked my phone once, and the code for me was the last four digits of the number of the phone you are trying to unlock, try it and see if it works, thats all I can help you with.

    I hope it works!!!=)
