Lionel Messi was recently involved in a brawl on the pitch with his Spanish team-mate, David Villa, and while giving an interview the Argentinean star revealed what ticks him off on the pitch.
Barcelona faced Granada during the previous week and even though many thought that it will be an easy fixture for them, it turned out to be difficult.
The opponents frustrated the Spanish giants to such an extent that even the humble Lionel Messi was seen fighting with his team-mate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Villa-c10629, because a move did not work out as planned.
There were many questions raised about the relationship between these two players as everyone thought that there are problems in the Catalan locker-room with these two star players fighting.
While the Argentinean star spoke about the little rift even after the game against Granada, he shed light on it again as Barcelona managed to beat Sevilla and recorded their sixth consecutive win in the Spanish La Liga.
Barcelona had to face Sevilla over the weekend and while many thought that La Blaugrana will be easily dealt with by Sevilla, as they managed to deal with Real Madrid, the game turned on its head after the controversial red card decision taken by the referee
which saw a Sevilla player walking out.
While Barcelona won the match 3-2 even after going two goals down against Sevilla, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 spoke about the game and told the press the reasons why he gets angry.
“I get angry when I lose and do all I can to win. I always go onto the pitch thinking about winning, not scoring a lot of goals.
“When I retire I want people to remember me as a good person and not someone who scored lots of goals.”
“I don’t feel the need to get involved in arguments. I’m not interested in looking for conflict or problems. It’s not my idea of living or my style. I prefer to be respectful towards everyone.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are currently at the top of La Liga with 18 points, 8 above their arch-rivals, Real Madrid.
The two teams will be facing each other on the upcoming weekend and this is Madrid’s first chance to close the gap between the two sides.
