The Argentine has voiced his opinion regarding the Chilean international, claiming that the forward is full of undeniable potential.

Sanchez, who represented Italian Serie A outfit, Udinese, before joining the Catalan giants, was not able to perform at the level he was expected to perform due to injury problems and fitness issues in his first season with the Liga BBVA side.
Although the player managed to rise up to the occassion a number of times, many predicted him to be better than he could manage in his first season at the Nou Camp.
Despite making a total of 41 appearances for La Blaugrana, football experts and pundits believe that his contribution for his new club was mired due to his injury problems.
Apart from his fitness issues, Sanchez may also have faced difficulties while settling to a new system of football at the Spanish giants. The Copa del Rey champions play with their own unique style and hence settling into their ranks can prove to be a challenge.
Before joining the Azulgrana, the Chilean international was rated as one of the most promising players across the continent. A number of clubs were reported to be keen on acquiring the services of the young striker.
However, it was the Catalans who landed the South American and Messi has reaffirmed the club’s supporters that he expects Sanchez to make his mark in his second season at the Nou Camp.
While talking to reporters, the Rosario native was quoted as saying:
