Lionel Messi needs a break from football – Football News
Argentinean midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296, has told the press that he is not well, even though he has been playing for the Argentinean national team during the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The world’s best player is always required to play for the Argentinean team and his club, Barcelona, and it was seen time and time again that he was played by the Catalan giants despite his hamstring injury during
the later stages of the season.
La Blaugrana were in all sorts of trouble as they were to face the French side, PSG, in the quarter-final stage of the UEFA Champions League. After conceding in the home leg, Vilanova had to bring on Lionel Messi
despite his injury. The Argentinean made a sudden impact on the game as he provided Villa with the pass that led to a goal scored by Pedro Rodriguez.
He was not substituted after he was introduced into the game, even though many thought that he is risking his injury. Later on, he was played again by the Catalan manager, even though many though that he was
not physically fit.
With Bayern Munich playing against La Blaugrana in the semi-final stage of the European tournament, Messi had to play yet again with an injury and because of his lack of movement on the pitch, the Spanish giants
could not score a single goal and lost 7-0 on aggregate.
This time, after playing in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, it has been observed that the Argentinean is not fully fit. He himself revealed that he is still unwell and recently he has been advised to stay away
from football for a while. He is still deemed to be injured and there is a high possibility that he might aggravate his injury if he keeps insisting on playing more.
The Argentinean star might not be in action for the Argentinean team as they are on their way to qualifying for the South American football World Cup which is expected to take place next year in their neighbouring
country, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858. Messi, however, is expected to return to full fitness over the summer.
