Lionel Messi’s former agent has stated that the now Argentine international was very weak and short in his childhood, and also talked about his hormone treatment
One of the greatest players to grace the game of football, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296, was born with a genetically occurring deficiency.
The young Messi was very short and thin and did not grow in the manner that an ordinary child grows.
Messi was weak and lacked height, and this was actually duo to the fact that he suffered from a disease called growth hormone deficiency.
The disease is a genetically associated one and renders the effected person very feeble.
But the boy who was born with a gift was sent to earth with a task of achieving greatness and setting standards, and God did not disappoint as Lionel’s disorder was spotted.
Messi hence under-went the required treatment and has gone as close to normal, as one can be.
The Argentina international's agent believes that the boy was abnormal, not only in a physical manner but also in the regard that he possessed in-humane capabilities which would see him become probably the greatest player to have
ever graced the beautiful game.
Messi was brought to Barcelona by his agent and he has stated that he found it very difficult to find the perfect place for the Argentinean to grow up at.
The striker’s agent also claimed that the treatment that the young boy was to under-go time to time was pretty expensive and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 helped in that regard a lot.
"Some associates of mine saw Leo in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 when he was 11 years old,” said Horacio Gaggioli, who acted as the players agent until 2005.
“They said he was very good and I wanted him to come to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, but I had to find a team with very specific characteristics, a city where he could continue his hormone growth treatment, which was expensive.”
“When I saw http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leo-c22011 get off the plane I was open mouthed. I thought I was in trouble for doing all this for a boy who was so short and thin!”
Lionel Messi has gone on to win the Ballon d’Or award for three times running and looks set to claim the great individual honour for the fourth successive year.
