The German international claimed that a bad start to the new season’s campaign does not determine anything since there is still a long way to go.
Real Madrid’s Mesut Ozil has expressed that the start of the league campaign cannot project the final standing of the league table.

The German international took out time to reflect on the situation Real Madrid find themselves in, overlooking their recent form with his eyes set at the big picture.
Ozil was adamant that a bad start to the season does not rule out his side’s chances to reclaim their title, stating that it is too early to predict the outcome of the championship.
"It is clear that Real Madrid are aiming high and always want the best. However, you do not win titles at the start of the season. We have not found our best form yet as a team, but nothing is lost just yet. We have to make sure we get back on track as soon as possible now.”
"We have had a bit of bad luck. We don't score enough goals. These things happen in football, though."
Real Madrid are set to play the second leg of the Supercopa de Espana against Barcelona in mid-week. The match will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu.
