The German international is targeting a win against the Danish side in the last group stage clash in a bid to top Group B.

Ozil claimed that Germany are currently in great form and can beat any team in the world. He admitted that the team needs to be determined to perform and the results will keep coming. The midfielder is of the view that Denmark can be beaten if Die Mannschaft continue playing the way they have been in the competition.
The Real Madrid man is satisfied with his displays so far in the competition and is confident that Germany will lift the crown this time around. The player admitted that there is certainly room for improvement in the remaining games of the tournament and is targeting a place in the last eight with a win over Denmark.
“It will be a difficult game but if we play to our potential we can beat them as well. It was apparent that the Dutch and Portuguese wanted to take me out of the game, but I am happy with my performances so far. I know I can do better and will prove it in the next game,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Werder Bremen man stressed that Portugal and Denmark are somewhat similar teams as they have a defensive approach to their game. He claimed that the Danes will defend will eight to nine players and will look to attack on the counter which his side will have to wary of.
