Metal Gear Online - update, is it slow to download?

Question

i recently got metal gear solid on da ps3. the metal gear online is v.1.0. i went online and had to download v1.11. i tried to download it but its takes too long. i also had metal gear online beta and it was slow downloading updates. my other games download at normal speed but metal gear online doesnt. is it always slow downloading updates? can i improve the speed? can i download it from my pc instead and transfer it to ps3?

Dragon Lord is right, switch to wired. It took me around 10-15 minutes to download (HTTP download).

must be the connection, mine took about 2 minutes to download and install the update, are you using wireless connection? plug direct if possible.

its taking a long itme because its a big file

Download using the HTTP option. It can be slow, but it's a big update as it contains the Gene Expansion (but you need to pay to unlock the Gene features).
