Metal fm radio station for Los Angeles?

Question

I live near Los Angeles california, so I listen to KIIS FM, but I want to hear a radio station fm of metal songs like Iron Maiden,Motorhead, Metallica, Rammstein, yo know that kind of music. I tried 98.7fm but almost only Alternative.

So if you know any FM radios stations i could hear please tell me.

There are no actual metal stations in Los Angeles. Man it's been ages since we had one. KNAC (105.5) was the sh-t back in the day, but it's been a Mexican radio station for over 10 years now. KROQ only plays newer metal and the only Metallica songs you'll hear on there are the radio friendly ones (enter sandman, the unforgiven, and nothing else matters). Very rarely do they play something from Master of Puppets. Also, they are HUGE on playing the c**p of today which in my opinion is not rock at all (fall out boy, panic at the disco, etc). So in other words, we are out of luck finding a good meta radio station.

- it's a long shot, but have you tried KLOS.  although they play mostly classic rock, they tend to mix it better than most in this area. - jack fm, not so good. the days of all metal all the time , well, them days are gone.

The closest station you're going to find that plays any metal would be KROQ 106.7 FM in Los Angeles but mostly they play punk/alternative. If you can pick up 94.9 or 105.3 FM both of those broadcast out of San Diego and could be heard almost all the way up to LA. On the net try WWW.KNAC.COM for your metal.
