Actually bro..don't waste your money on it. For the cost of MGS4 Blue tooth, you can get a good blue tooth for phone that work much better (quality wise). MGS4 blue tooth can be compare to those regular ones for $15-20 - so dont waste your money.

The MGS4 headset does work with blue-tooth cell phones. However the headset is not a good one.  The earpiece is not comfortable on the ear and it just feels cheap itself.  The volume, to me, was weak, not as loud my motorola i had before.  Another downer is the fact that it can only be charged by usb.  So that means charging by PS3 or computer to charge it only, not very convenient. You'd be better served finding another one.

Depending on what phone you have, it should. Most Bluetooth devices work with most bluetooth devices. If you have an older cell phone, then it may not.

it doesn't have to be a metal gear headset anyway. you can buy any bluetooth headset for cellphones and then use it with ps3.
