Metal halide for 50 gallon?

i saw this on ebay 500 watt metal halide. Is it to good to be true?. for $250 you get 500 watt metal halide. IT has no brand, is it a good idea to buy it?. Would this be enough light to grow a huge variety of corals and anemones?

The seller has VERY good feedback, so I wouldn't be too concerned.  I would definitely email them before bidding though, just to ask about shipping, suggestions, or anything you should know about the specific fixture.  Also, establish an agreement as to what happens if it doesn't arrive intact.
