Metallic taste in mouth could i be pregnant??

Question

I have a really bad metallic taste in my mouth, it's coming from the back and the side of my cheek. I am supposed to have ovulated yesterday, and I've had some minor cramps today. My last period was July 15 so I don't think it's possible for me to be pregnant. What do you think? What are other causes of this?

i dont exactly have an answer for ya but i have a metalic taste in my mouth also. and please dont think weird like other people that answer my questions. im using my husbands e mail adress and one person said its impossible for me to be pregnant becouse men dont get pregnant lol but my name is stacey and i dont have an e mail adress and im using my husbands computer adress lol i thought that person was very rude

well if it was july 15 and its almost september then you didnt get your period for august so i'd have to say it is very possible....

this is a sign that some women get.

Um according to my calculations today being aug. 30 your last p was july 15 that would make you approximately 2 weeks late. Take a test. As far as the taste 2 things do you have a tongue ring? That messed my mouth up or you could have a cavity pregnancy can also cause that.

sometime hormone fluctuations or medications can cause this. However when I was pregnant I had this tast in my mouth that was like rusty pennys. The first day of your last period was july 15th? well its been about 6 weeks. unless you have a really long cycle I think you could be pregnant. Are you sure about your cycle schedule?

um.  you could totally be pregnant.  if your last period was the 15th of july, this is the 30th...of AUGUST.  maybe you ovulated early.  

the metallic taste was my first clue when i was 5 days past ovulation that i was pregnant with my daughter :D

i went to dental assisting school

and although i am not a Dentist

i know that sometimes an amalgam (silver tooth filling) can get old or crack and cause you to have that metallic taste

i'd see your dentist

Well according to the date of ur last period ..yes  as for the metallic taste well I never heard that to be a symptom of pregnancy...I could be wrong though..

I am a little confused about the question. If you had your last period on July 15 then you would be about 2 weeks late. If that is the case then take an over the counter test. Maybe you meant to say August 15? If so then I wouldn't be too concerned about being pregnant. You would have no signs at this point. The metallic taste could be something else and it would be a good idea to go to the doctor and get checked out. If you are TTC then you don't want to get an infection that could effect your pregnancy.

Are you on antibiotics?  There is a certain antibiotic medication that can cause a metallic taste in your mouth.  Ive never heard of that being a sign of pregnancy.
