"Just zeroes"? Although I admit I'm not a mathematician, I do believe that the number zero is quite important, but maybe I am being difficult...

Basically you are saying that men are viewed as being more valuable than women, whether or not this is true since zeroes are quite valuable as well. In this sense it is probably true since the value of women traditionally is not recognized. That's the whole point of feminism isn't it? For the value of women to be recognized to be equal that of the value of men?

If you're trying to say that men are more important than women, you're completely misinterpreting the binary system and creating a failed metaphor.  But as I read and interpret it, I do agree with what you say, though it doesn't matter if men are ones and women are zeros or if it's the other way around.

In the binary system, zeros don't mean nothing, null, void or whatever word you can come up with.  Zeros hold just as much information as the ones; the information is just different.  But you need both the ones and zeros to get the full message otherwise you have meaningless garbage.

Within my interpretation, men without women mean little and so too do women without men.  It is men and women together who give you the full message, that of the human plight.
