Meteorology: what is the average age of someone in this profession?

Difficult question to answer, as I'm not sure there's any hard statistics on it.  Plus, it depends on whether you are just talking about TV weathermen or anyone with a meteorology degree.  I can tell you that since the mid-late 90's, the number of people entering the profession has exploded.  So if you are just talking about the number of people with a degree in meterology, I'd be willing to bet the average age is rather young, perhaps early to mid 30's.  I'd say that age has held true for 2 of the 3 jobs I've worked...with the most recent actually being more like mid 20's...but I think this is probably an anomaly.
