50,000 yrs ago a meteor hit the earth in modern day AZ. It caused 2.5 megatons of TNT to saturate the air ,175 tons of rock to be tossed, and was more powerful than the 2 bombs dropped over Japan ( Hiroshima + Nagasaki). Amazingly to the tree hugger alamists, the Earth survived and within 100 yrs the area was liveable again.

Do you people really buy this Global Warming BS? Wake up! It's a hoax! The goverment is brainwashing you!

Do you think they should have a Anti-Global warming section here?

  2. Little by little, it'll eventually become global warming.  It's not gonna happen just like that.  As years come.  People from the next generation are going to live in harsher conditions than the ones we're living in now if we keep polluting earth.

  3. AMEN  the earth is an amazingly adaptable place, and while we can do things to harm it short term, we greatly overrate our abilities to harm this marvelous place.  man made global warming, (climate change as it is currantly being called because there has been no recent sign of warming), is a hoax.  people, think for yourselves how the information they have been preaching to you could even be obtained, it can't be!  they have determined an average earthly temperature change of .75 degree in 100 yrs., over the entire planet.  first they only have access to land based information, how do you determine the temperature of the ocean surface in 1910?  it's all bull, they'll be selling us a new iceage before long, i'll bet on it!  do you think with all our modern high tech equipement, satellites with infared imaging etc. they can obtain a global average temp within 1 degree, even for today?  no way

  4. Hi

I told you, I will solve this global warming problem, but still trying to solve the global cooling problem of late 70's early 80's, and El Niño  of the mid 90's.  I can only solve one global issue at a time.  Natural resource vs renewable resources is also on the list but well down as so many other major issues ahead of it.

    Thank You

ps Lighter/Darker... Your argument is the same as the one they gave in the 70's for global cooling, and yes they said back then we where on our way to an ice age in next few thousand years. Is it that impossible to believe that the earth is not a constant but like everything within it always changing and adapting.  How many remember the two basic principles on what everything is trying to achieve?

  5. Define "TNT."  Because if it is the stuff I'm thinking about, you might want to rephrase your sentence.  The TNT I am familiar with wasn't around 50,000 years ago.  There is no possible way a meteor during that time could have "caused 2.5 megatons of TNT to saturate the air."

Anyway, I don't really buy all of this AGW alarmism.   I also find it amazing that life has managed to continue on even after mass extinctions such as one caused by a meteor hit like the one you describe.

    UPDATE:

UHHHHH..... missy, TNT is a high explosive commonly refereed to as dynamite.  "Megatons" is a unit of explosive power.  There is NO such this as 2.5 TNT's of energy.  There IS such a thing as 2.5 megatons of energy.  You can say that an explosion would have the same AMOUNT of energy as a quantity of TNT.  But it is still not measured in units TNT.

Oh, spell trinitrotoluene right if you wish to use chemical names.
