Meter reading how do i submit it online with e-on?

i read my meter it gave me three readings but on the e-on website it says give 2 readings and i dont know which ones please help

  1. You probably have a two rate + total meter

    while there are many types of meter you will probably see one register ( reading) as perhaps R01, another as R02 (or similar) and the third as UNR or TOT (Unrestricted or Total).

    The other way to work it out is that two of the registers added together will almost certainly add up within one or two to the other.

    -It is the two other readings ie *not* the total, which is for information only you need to give if this is the case-

    The other possibility is that the meter shows the date or 88888 which is a test pattern.

    The further possibility is that you genuinely have a three rate Night, Evening and Weekend, and Peak rate meter - in this case ( and as far as I am aware these are usually only availible on non-domestic supplies) - Check you bills, do you get charged on three rates, or just two?

    If you are being charged on three rates you may have to phone in your readings, or email them if the website interface only supports two rate metering.

    -If all else fails, give Eon a call (or swap to a better company)(Grin)
