Metformin and contraceptive pills?

is it likely for a person that's taking metformin and contraceptive pills to get pregnant? please any drs answer!!. Do the contraceptive pills work the same when you're taking metformin?

You should still be protected at the 99 per cent effectiveness rating of the pill (which means any time you have s*x you have a chance of becoming pregnant).

The only problem that the combination of these two medications would be that your glucose levels will rise up depending on the type of contraceptive pill your taking..
