Method of avoiding groundwater leakage at flooring underground fit?

there was no ground water found when the building was constructed.There was no rain at that area for fast 7 years before the building constrction starts.Now heavy rains in that area .It is the place under hills.Now a lot of water leakage in the flooring at underground pits.

the underground section of a building need to have extra treatment for water leakage. underground water course can change due to various reasons. Now that your building is already in place it is not possible for you to include these features. you need to make an extra 6-8 inches water proof concrete structure all round your basement to avoid water leakage. the new concrete will completely cover the old one. you cant leave even the steps.
