  1. Hi its exactly what it says - an error in the transmission of the data has corrupted or caused an error. Usual method is to request retransmission ie download again. Some dodgy people purposely but large corrupted files on the Internet to either waste time (for peer 2 peer networks) or possibly even mask a virus/ Trojan being placed on your PC.
