Question:

Metorites that came from the planet Jupiter about ten or more years ago. Where to find info about them?

TY. Yes, I think there were 20 meteorites headed for earth about 10 or more years ago at 220,000 miles an hour; but something happened & they missed earth, then there was really never anything heard about them. Could someone please tell me where I might find some research information about them would be very appreciated. TY.

  1. to clairfy... it was ONE comet that broke up into pieces.... it looked like a 'string of pearls' before it hit.... very interesting....lots of info here...

  2. ChuckE is correct.  You have your facts seriously wrong.  They made some very impressive explosions on Jupiter and nearly every telescope on Earth was watching when they hit.  

  3. not a metorite (or meteorite or meteor) rather a comet

    not came from Jupiter, it hit Jupiter.
