Hello, what would be the best ticket for 4 days for the metro? I think that I'll use 2 to 4 directions each day.

Thanks a lot

  1. I bought the Carte Orange for 5 days.  It has unlimited use for 5 days but does not start until Monday I think.

Also I got to use if for the funicular at the Sacre Coeur.

  2. There is no real point in buying a pass for the usage you describe.

A "carnet" of 10 tickets costs 11.10 euros which makes the cost of each of the tickets 1.11 euros. If you make 2-4 trips on public transportation a day then using individual tickets the cost will be between 2.22 - 4.44 euros. In four days your total costs would 8.88 - 17.76 euros or  13.27 euros as the median anticipated cost.

The one day pass, the Mobilis, costs 5.60 euros per day or 22.40 euros for four days.

A Carte Orange costs 16.30 Euros (assuming those four days fall within a single monday-monday period, 32.60 if they do not) In addition, there will soon be a one time 5 euro fee to buy a Navigo ID card which will be replace the current Carte Orange identification.

A Paris Visite (for five days...there is no 4 day pass) would cost 27.50 euros  or or 34 euros (if you bought 4 one-day passes)
