Metro in los angeles!!!! please help?

i looked at the metro website and im still a little confused

where exactly do you pay for the pass/ticket?

if you buy an all day pass and you switch to another bus do you have to pay again?

does anybody know how to use the timetables??

im planning to take a trip using the bus from the san fernando valley to chinatown soo im soo confusedd.. please helppp..

  1. hello. I also use metro (Access for me). it is on time, just know where you're going to. Riding this way is SO non los Angeles, but times do change. good luck. ; {


  2. For the buses, you pay the driver as you get on.  Have exact change ready.  You can get either a one-ride ticket or an all-day pass.  If you get the day pass, you hang on to it and show it on any other bus you get on for the rest of the day and you don't have to pay again.

  3. you can get the day pass from any metro driver

    (unless are are boarding at the orange line station then its

    same as red line (go to the ticket vending machine) to get your pass

    or at the north Hollywood red line station (go to the ticket vending machine)

    get a day pass

    and get to chinatown the fastest is to take the Red Line to Union station then transfer to the gold line for 1 stop
