Metro pcs service question?

i live in CA and i have a cell phone with metro pcs it's driving me nuts i never have service anywhere it never works in my house or in stores why? is there any company out there that has the same no credit check like metro pcs but that has good service?

boost mobile is unlimited everything and prepaid

You can sign with Verizon, AT&T or T-mobile and do prepaid. If do prepaid the companies will not do a credit check.  If you go on contract, that is when the companies will do a credit check.
