Mets Bullpen Unfair?

Johan Santana has left the game 6 times with a lead, and the Mets Bullpen blows it. In other words, Johan Santana's Record is 9-7, when it should be 15-7. What are your thoughts?

  1. haha I know that stinks for santana he should have went to the yankees ( I am sure I will get some thumbs down for that ) if he went to the yankees mo is perfect this year he could have his reg. season with the yankees eh, well  


  2. the bullpen does suck badly and he does need help, but not all of it can fall on the bullpen persay

    remeber a few starts ago santana went a complete game, his only of the season, while winning by at least 8 runs all game?? why didnt he come out there and let the bullpen do some work so he could save his arm up for his next start

    he doesnt go the distance in many games, ive seen him pitch alot and hes luck yto get 6 INN a start, and when you have a battered bullpen you need your starters, especially the ACE of your staff, to go at least 7 or 8 innings most of the time

    but yes the bullpen blows

  7. The way to fix this is for Santana to complete the games he starts. For the money he's being paid why isn't he doing that?

    Tom Seaver did it and he went to the HOF. So, stop blaming the bullpen for his misfortune, he has to be able to fix his own problem.

  8. like i have been saying, the mets CANNOT GET  TO PLAYOFFS! WHY? WORST BULLPEN IN HISTORY OF BASEBALL! SOME SAY TIGERS IS BAD? NOT COMPARED TO METS! johan santans should ask for trade after season because mets gm has done horrible job with team ,and mets will!! choke again!!

  10. Thats how it is. Do you know how many times I've seen that happen to SEVERAL pitchers?
