What do you think the Mets are going to do this off-season?

  1. I would be very surprised if they don't get at least two new arms for the bullpen. In addition, they will probably look for a corner outfielder, and a first and/or second baseman. Their rotation seems pretty well set, and of course they're good at third, short, and centerfield, and perhaps Castro is ready to step up and be a full-time catcher next year.


  2. Lets finish this one first. Then, we can talk about free agents for next year.

    Citifield opens, more money will be available, and he has to have a winner to justify the huge increases in the price of tickets.

  3. It's way too early to be asking this question....they need to finish the playoffs first (they will make it though).  If I was to make a guess I would say they would work on their pitching more than anything though.  They have some bullpen problems and may need a closer if Wagner doesn't heal properly.  They may need to find a few outfielders too, it looks like Alou's career is done and is a pair of reliable shoes to fill.
