Former Manchester United first team coach, Rene Meulensteen, has expressed a desire to help Anzhi Makhachkala in winning their first ever Russian Premier League title in the near future.

The 49-year-old followed in the footsteps of Sir Alex Ferguson to leave Old Trafford this summer. Ferguson retired after helping the English Premier League club win thirteen titles since taking the managerial charge back in 1986.
