I have never even heard of this. I am amazed that a country's military would release something like this. Is it me or do you see any significance of a military releasing this? Do you think any other countries will come forward?

  1. The video doesn't really indicate that much.  There are a number of lights video taped at a distance.  You can't determine if the source of the lights is flying much less whether or not they are of ET origin.

Here's another angle on the story:

    http://www.alcione.org/FAM/FLIR_CONCLUSI...

It explains how this video isn't of ET UFOs, but of the flame from oil wells.  Thanks for yet another good example of how people eager to believe in and prove something are quick to jump to the wrong conclusions.  Although you may or may not fit this description, your question seems to take for granted the objects on the video are ET UFOs.

EDIT: I apologize.  I was not aiming my "thanks" at you personally, but in general.  Because, as I am sure you are aware, those who are eager to prove ET UFOs are real would jump to the conclusion the video you show is of ET UFOs much more quickly than a person who isn't.

With all due respect and nothing personal, but your extensive experience with the oil industry, althought not insignificant in arguments involving the oil indistry, carries little weight in this argument.

What we have is an IR video of a series of light sources.  They appear to be moving *relative to the clouds*.  Those lights can appear to be chasing the plane in the same way in which the moon can appear to be following you when you travel at night.  When there is an object far off, as the oil fields were (note the lights when not zoomed all the way in), and there is a moving object near the observer, the distant object will appear to be moving with the observer.  This can also be observed when on a highway.  The trees near the highway zoom by, but the distant church/house/barn appears to be nearly stationary.  The closer the trees the faster they move and the farther the object the less it seems to move.  No one--pilots included--are immune to optical illusions.

  2. 2004 and nothing yet has come of it - does that tell you something?

  3. that's a facts it' only a matter of time when it's going to become official i think when that is going to happened the world as known is going to change dramatically let's hope better i like this kind of questions cause people need to be aware what is going on

  4. The Mexican people have seen many UFOs. Sometimes whole cities see them. The people in other countries see them too. When so many people see stuff together, even the governments can't deny it. Especially when the have videos of it.

Maybe the US Government thinks people will be scared. I know some of them will be scared. A lot of people will not be scared. A lot of people will think it is important. I will not be scared and I think it is important.

  5. To make people fear what is not known.

  6. No, I don't see any significance. I guess they decided that their footage wasn't a UFO or spy plane or anything like that at all, so they declassified it.
