  1. In Mexico, it's illegal for women to have beards. If they're caught, they get publicly shaved.

And there are no traffic laws in Mexico. Anything goes. Every road is like the Autobahn.

  2. In Mexico their are no laws because people don't respect them you can kill some one in front of a cop and just take out $100U.S. dollars and the cop never saw any thing.

  3. Well, this is a REAL law believe it or not (but it's so ridiculously stoooooopid that nobody enforces it): it's illegal for any vehicle that is transported with artifacts in the shape of wheels (cars, bikes, wagons carried by horses, the phrasing is very ambiguous) during Semana Santa (the week before Easter) in the limits of Mexico City.

The law is over 150 years old from a time when people caused a lot of havoc riding wagons around town in that week when they collided against religious peregrinations walking by foot.

As far as I know, the law still exists even today.

Oh, technically it's also illegal for priests and nuns to go walking in the street dressed in religious attire. You will see them, but it's VERY rare. I only see a priest actually walk around the street in attire once every 4 years or so. However, the law isn't seriously enforced. It probably became a law during the persecution of christians during the war of the Cristeros about 100 years ago and was never removed.

Don't remember the name of the village, but it's in the state of Hidalgo. It's illegal for people to crash into a stranger's party without an invitation. Whatever.
