Mexican Phone Calls - 01-800 Number from the US.?

Question

Need to call Customer Service for SKY TV in Mexico,

It works very well in Mexico to cal 01-800 -4-759-759 but

I need to be able to call that from the USA.

Anyone know how.

One way to avoid super high long distance calls to Mexico is to get a penny talk card.  It has rates as low as two cents per minute + a .49 cent connect fee.  On mobile lines in Mexico, I believe it varies from .29 to .31 per minute.

The phone number to penny talk is 1-888-624-9714.  

Within the U.S., it's only one cent per minute + the .49 cent connect fee.  They do charge a .99 cent per month maintenance fee.

EDIT:  Other than me providing you with a much more cheaper alternative to making the calls there, Charlie has given you a good answer.

You cannot call 1-800 numbers in Mexico just as you cannot call 1-800 numbers in the states from Mexico without paying the long distance charge ( and you need to be using one of the "call-back" type services). I tried to find a different number for SKY for you, but couldn't.   You could try 011-52-800-475-9759, but I am sure you will have to pay for the call. Here is their website.

After looking at the SKY TV website, and not speaking Spanish,  we noticed a local number

Adding 5255 to the 51690000

and it worked.

I use Skype when ever possible and it varries from  2 cents to 10 cents a minute to  land lines and .33 for cell phones.
