  1. Just consider what you're eating.

Nachos and other "finger food" = hands.

Tacos, small-medium burritos, etc. = hands.

Enchiladas, huge burritos, food covered with salsa = fork.

    Soup = spoon.

Taco salad = use the crispy tortilla "bowl."

  2. You can eat tacos and burritos with your hands, its a lot easier, but its basically impossible to eat enchiladas with your hands, you have to use a knife & fork on those.  Happy birthday...feliz cumplean~os!!

  3. Basically the same good manners you use at other restaurants. The use of knife & fork and fingers as necessary will come naturally I think.

    Relax and enjoy.

  4. use your fingers, drink beer from the bottle and look for the spit tin under the table

  5. Eat with your fingers! Mexican food isn't formal food so just get stuck in!

  6. no, u must use a knife and/or fork unless ur mexican and can prove it

  7. It's just like any other restaurant. Eat by what ever means is easiest. Nachos eat with your fingers, burritos you can cut an eat with a fork if it's huge, a taco pick up. Just follow everyone else and use common sense.

    Happy B'day.

  8. YEAH BABY!

get stuck in...use your hands...splurge out all over the place!!

If you need to use a knife and fork then cut it up...using your fork to shovel it up...who cares!

    ARRRRIIIIIBAAAAAAAAA UNDELAYYYYYYY!!!

  9. I love Mexican food and am usually so engrossed in enjoying my food I've never thought about observing manners of others.  I don't give a thought about how my manners appear to others.  If you are comfortable with yourself and not splashing food on your fellow diners, you're probably okay.  If you can't eat an item without picking it up with your fingers like tacos or burritos, you have no other option.

  10. It depends on what kind of food your going to eat and what kind of people your going to be with! Don't use a spoon for mexican food unless its soup.

  11. Go for it!  Tortillas are sometimes used instead of forks or spoons.  But it is always best to check to see how the other people are eating and follow their lead, if it is a really classy restaurant, the rules may be different.
