  1. Lets see, the Mexican Military illegally crossed the border (they know d**n well where the border lines are) and then aimed firearms at an American Citizen and Government Agent. There were at least a couple of big time crimes committed there.

This isn't the first time the Mexican Military and Government Agents have intentionally violated US law and illegally crossed our borders. They've been doing it in Imperial County California since the early 70's.

  2. wow this is really sad, even the mexicans dont know where the border is... we need to build a fence along the border so this doesnt happen and kick out all the illegals

  3. Like was said :"There are places where there are no markers, at least not easily found," said Lloyd Easterling, a Border Patrol spokesman in Washington.

"There's no line painted in the sand or anything like that."

I can see how that would happen. Thankfully no one got hurt. According to the article it's happened with our Border Patrol too. At least we're working together now trying to fix this.

  4. Isn't this like the state police holding a city police officer in uniform at gun point at a bank robbery? Are the smugglers disguising themselves as Border Patrol now? We have men and women trying to keep smuggled goods and people out of the US and our government says too bad when someone points a gun at them? Somebody should wack congress up side the head!

  5. More reasons to build the fence.

Mexico govt can't afford to buy GPS for the its soldiers. No excuse for holding up the U.S. border patrol agent at gun point. i bet those troops were helping drug smugglers bring drugs into the U.S near by?

  6. I think I really want the border patrol to stop calling me.

  7. NO harm done! It was just the military doing it's job. It clearly states that nothing happened but the gun pointing. The military is there to crack down on drug smugglers, they didn't know who he was or what side of the border he was on because there are no marker at that point.

"But other areas on the reservation and other stretches of border either have only barbed wire or no markers at all, making it hard to distinguish the boundary.

"There are places where there are no markers, at least not easily found," said Lloyd Easterling, a Border Patrol spokesman in Washington.

"There's no line painted in the sand or anything like that."

  8. It has been happening a lot, past and present, and I believe it is despicable that our Federal Government is not addressing this situation.  There have been other accounts of Mexican Soldiers coming across our border and actually shooting, also kidnapping.  This is heading to a very dangerous level.  WHERE ARE OUR POLITICIANS AND OUR CANDIDATES ON THIS TOPIC????

  9. to greasy tony: reread the article. the border was clearly marked. it happened on the Tohono Oodham res. there is a graded road and clear border markers.
