Mexico 4 night cruise, how much money should I bring?

Im going on a 4 night cruise in January and was wondering how much you think I will need. I have been to all the ports and dont plan on spending a lot of money on gifts and things like that. I just mostly am thinking food and drinks. Also are there any "hiden" costs I dont know about?

Watch your bar tab, coffee drinks and juices.  all spa treatment are costly and some activity and exercise classes area charged.  Even the bottled water has a charge.

it depends on what you do, the last time we went on a cruise 2 of the ports we didn't spend hardly anything, under $50 for the both, but we had been there before and where window shopping mostly. Another port we Planned $200 for it and came pretty close.

the only thing you will need to pay for on the ship is the gratuity(tip) and anything from the spa, coffee shops, bar and casino

this is based on a carnival ship I know RC has a few restaurants you pay to even enter to just get hamburgers

If you eliminate souvenirs, then all you have to watch out for are the optional extras on the ship.  All food is included.  Sometimes there are optional extra cost restaurants.  All drinks are included except bottled water (tap water is free and taste fine) soft drinks and alcoholic drinks.  Tips are typically $10 per person per day.

Photos are getting expensive, running $10 for the shore side photos and $17 to $20 for the photos taken aboard the ship.  However, you don't have to buy any of the photos.  

Spa treatments are expensive - if you sign up for any.

You can spend as much or as little at the casino as you want.

Shore excursions, if you take any, cost extra.  The cost depends on the excursion you are taking.  You can walk around the port for free.

Basically, except for tips, everything else that cost money on the ship is free.
