Mexico and electricity??

Im going to mexico for vacation.....does anyone know if you need a converter for electricity? (im staying at a hotel)

  1. you will not need a converter, they use the same 110 wattage that we do. The only converter you might need is if you have anything you will be running off of 220, but you only need a 110/220 converter. HOPE THIS HELPS!

  3. no..the plugs are the same..i wouldnt suggest taking anything extra..most hotels have that stuff on request...

  4. No, you don't need any converter. Voltage is 115 similar than in USA

  5. Basically the same plugs and voltage as the USA. But voltage does surge more there than here, so if you were taking something sensitive, a surge protector would be in order.  But for a curling iron and hair drier, you won't notice any difference.

  6. Assuming that you are from the United States or any other country with the same voltage you will not need a converter.
