It's pretty much the same squad that faced Honduras, except for Edgar Castillo and Guille Franco being left out.

Sucks for Edgar Castillo because I don't think he's ever been given a clear opportunity with the Mexico first team. Nery Castillo is still in transition with Betis so that's reasonable. My boy Gut Estrada apparently is never going to be given a shot. I would also like to see Dominguez from Cruz Azul given a shot because he has that composure that all the great center backs have. Franco can always be called up later.

What do you guys think?

It's the same roster, with the exception of two players, Guillermo Franco, and Edgar Castillo. Personally I like this squad, although I think Cesar Villaluz should also be in the roster, also someone like Nery Castillo but Nery has to prove he belongs in the Seleccion Mexicana.

why would he chose paco torres over edgar castillo????

they play the same except edgar has more speed and runs up the pitch more often.

and i am glad franco didnt get called up again, i think sven sent him a little message.

but el tri needs bofo, he is tall strong, creative and adds flare to the game and gets good free kicks positions. he is like another c. blanco.

if we get c. ochoa out and bring in bofo it would be a great list

And I feel you, I would really like to see el Guty playing for Mexico hes got some talent!!!

Guys but lets not get too confident about Mexico beating Jamaica badly, thats what we said about Honduras, (it seems that every CONCACAF team has grown and now has players playing all over Europe)

I like the list Guille is out no worries didn't really want him on the team as for Castillo idk I think he should be there instead of Pinto or Maza but the back line is pretty solid.

Matias has step-ed his game up I wont be surprised if he's a starter next to Bravo I hope. Vela is a definite sub for the second half as well as gio.

With almost a full week of practice I look forward to seeing a stronger Mexico with better chemistry. That two touch game can be a problem for Jamaica

it's very nice... very similar but at least Sven is working with a base.

on mediotiempo it said that nery could come if he gets signed with betis, which he probably will. so, let's say he will come.

what do you guys think of my line-up? any potential weaknesses? in my opinion it opens more space for our speedy offense.

you know what im happy he basically called the same people, too many d**n past coaches would change like 10-15 players every game, so im glad he kept it the same......

BUT MOST OF ALL IM REALLY HAPPY THAT FRANCO WAS LEFT OUT!! he just sucks...good move.

and Nery coming back , well i think we all saw that coming....

all in all, i think its an OK list. i wud luv 2 see nery in with cuahtemoc tho, maybe in the future, leandro isnt bad, but i think there are many other native mexicans who can play that position the same or maybe even better, i wud enjoy seeing vuoso play a half jus 2 see how he does, otherwise- MEXICO CAMPEON 2010!!!!!!!!!!!( probably not goin hapn but nuthn wrong with dreamn, rite?)

i like it. edgar castillo isnt gonna start over salcido marquez and magallon anyways. and guille sucks anyways. i like how nery might get called up. oswaldo sanchez is fine, sven said it was only a hard hit. i would like to see nery and blanco start. then sub nery for vela and gio for blanco. either ways i like nery and blanco together. lets not forget that they have good chemistry. matias vuoso sucks, idont know why people keep sayin he good, the rest of the team makes him look good. and carlos ochoa sucks too. how can you continue to compare them to blanco, and european strikers, u cant. and how can people criticize arce, how he is a ball hog, he is the most consistent player in the last few games. i dont see giovani starting. i see blanco and vela starting, i kno they are. gio and nery will be subs. IM CALLING IT, YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON IT.

why do u guys hate Guille Franco i thinks his pretty good.....also i hope he doesn't put vela and dos santos together as strikers cuz they like to play a wingers so he should but a solid stirkers....also put OCHOA as goalie
