Mexico vaca question teens?

Okay, so for my senior trip, my friends and I are going to mexico (all inclusive), they're all 18, I'll be 17, and I can't stop them from drinking, its unfair, and I want to too (honestly). I don't want to be bored up in my hotel room while they party, I know that the hotel will give me only a wrist band.....

Can I go to a diff place and try to drink, I don't look like a kid.....?

I've heard they enforce it, then I heard they don't....

I think at the bars they have beer. I dont think they will ask for your age.

Do you realize that "vaca" in Spanish means "cow"?

Hi you may not be able to drink in your hotel. However depending on were you are staying i found cancun was quiet easy. Places like hard rock cafe and those close by didn't bother. Im sure if there was a few of you no one would notice.....hope this helps.
