(I don't want to hear about Mexico being a bigger country)

If you put the top 10 Mexican boxers against the top 10 Puerto Rican Boxers, who will win??

Top 10 vs Top 10 That's a different story

On Mexico's Side you have Salvador Sanchez, Julio Cesar Chavez,  Ruben Olivares,  Marco Antonio Barrera, Ricardo Lopez, De La Hoya, Carlos Zarate, Jose Napoles, Miguel Canto,  and if Half Mexican count Mexico has Roberto Duran.

For Puerto Rico, you have Wilfredo Gomez, Wilfred Benitez, Tito Trinidad, Rosario, Hector Camacho, Jose Torres, Carlos De Leon. (That's all i can come up with.)

My opinion is that Mexico has produced Better boxers than Puerto Rico.

the best mexican fighters now are Antonio Margarito(147), Israel vazquez(125), Jose Luis Castillo(147), , De La hoya(147),  and others in the past are Julio Cesar Chavez(140), Marco Antonio Barerra(130)

Puerto Ricans are Miguel Cotto(147), Felix Trinidad(147), Kermit Cintron(147), Manuel Lopez(125), and old fighters are Wilfredo Benitez(147), wilfredo gomez(130)

De la hoya vs Trinidad: is Trinidad by Decision event ho de le haya looked liek he had the fight won till the last 3 rds

Cotto vs Margarito: is a dream fight and i think that MArgarito would win b/c of his height and pressure in fighting

Cintron vs Castillo is Castillo all the way in his prime

Wilfredo Benitezv s JCC: JCC KO

Vazquez vs Lopez: Vazquez KO

Barrera vs Gomez- Gomez Win

Hense out of these 6 fights between the best ever the final tally is 4-2 puerto ricans but this is not about where there from its about how they all fight, they are warriors int he ring everyone on that list is a warrior and some great mexican puerto rican fights are coming on thier way, Cotto and Margarito should be the fight of the year by far, an all action packed brawl and im extatic and excited to see the next chapter and see who will become a star, in my prediciton i think it will be the Mexican Warrior who as larry merchant said the the truth machine in a fighter can you stay with him, can you take his shots, and how do you react when he takes your best shot and keeps coming, Margarito KO7

Well being that Puerto Rico has the most Champions per square mile out of any country in the world and that it was recently stated that Puerto Rico has won more head to head matches at a Cotto-Margarito Press confrence by Bob Arum.(I cant remeber the exact Numbers but there was quite a gap) I would have to give Puerto Rico the edge but to break down a little more

The current top 5 puerto rican fighters are Cotto,Quintana,Cintron,Juanma Lopez, and Ivan Calderon who combine for a record of 139-4, the losses are to three current welter weight champs Cotto,Margarito and Williams, all the losses were also in title fights.

As opposed to mexico's current top like De La Hoya, Vasquez, Barrera, Erik Morales,  Juan Manuel Marquez who are in the ends of there carear  241-25 with alot of the early wins in Mexico by guys who in the U.S would of been considered amateur fighters. Mexico's next big prospect is Chavez Jr. who is 36-0 and has also has tallyed alot of Nobody wins(Thats not to say he wont be a Star just prime example of Bulking up the wins)
